Favre Stays Retired…. so they say

According to the Star Tribune’s website, Favre will stay retired.

“Judd just received a phone call from Brad Childress who said he talked to Brett Favre and that he was informed that Favre is staying retired. Childress cited the daily grind both mentally and physically as part of the reason why Favre remained retired.”

Is this for real? Will more news be brought up later? Will Favre get an itch once training camp is almost over? I don’t kow but regardless I do wish the man good luck, he was entertainment. Especially on Monday Night Football.

Brett Favre had a great career and should be remembered for his on-field achievements and his stubborness that created some of these plays, but most of all I will remember the way he celebrated. It was like watching a kid open up a Christmas present. He reminded me of a high school QB throwin his first TD. Favre kept the joy.

Then he retired a whole bunch and ended with some drama.

As we look at it now, the MN Vikings created quite a stir with this and we have to wonder if they want to pursue the recently re-instated former ATL Falcons QB Michael Vick. The only reason I bring this up is that the Vikings haven’t come across overly satisfied with their lineup of Quarterbacks. Forget TNT, this is the NFL and Drama Awaits.
